Frequently Asked Questions

What sort of work will I be doing?

We provide domiciliary care to a wide range of clients. Visits range from personal care to domestic calls, and in some locations we provide support for clients with mental health issues. For more information about our services please visit

Do I have to have experience or qualifications for the role?

You don’t need any experience in care, but we do require all new members of staff to attend a 3-day induction course. You will be rewarded £100 for this after you have completed 3 months of work, and once you have completed the care certificate.

What is the Care Certificate?

The Care Certificate is a basic certificate for the social care sector. We provide access to the qualification free of charge. It consists of 15 standards, and takes three months to complete. It is a recognised qualification, and you can take it with you anywhere you go.

Will I be required to work weekends?

We require all members of staff to work at least one shift every other weekend.

Do I have to be able to drive?

We have opportunities for walkers depending on the area you live in, you may be required to use public transport. If you do not have use of your own car but hold a full UK driving license and work more than 30 hours a week, you may be eligible for a company car.

Do I require a DBS check?

We require all staff members to have a DBS due to the nature of your role. A DBS check costs £40. This will be refunded to you after 3 months of working with us and completing the care certificate.
